This course has been created to provide your society with the information it needs to run safe events.

 

In the first part of this  course you will learn about COVID-19 for you personally, what you can do to prevent the spread of the virus, about vaccinations, what to do to if you think you have COVID-19, how to stay safe off campus and in shared accommodation and government guidelines.

 

In the second part of the course you will learn about  the role of the COVID-19 Officer and your responsibilities. How to run safe events, how to complete a risk assessment, safety procedures for a variety of events and what is a society safety statement.

 

In order to complete this training you need to:

• Read the guidelines.

• Watch the videos. 

• Complete the quizzes - you must achieve a score of 80% - you can retake the quizzes.

• You will receive a certificate on completion of this course, when you provide your detail at the end of the course.
