About Us

BICS was created to provide a national forum for student societies in third level institutions.

The Board is responsible for the promotion of interest in the activities of Irish college societies and of contact and co-operation between them.

Student societies are a path to a greater experience of higher education, to building friendships which will last far beyond your college years and gaining skills which are just as valuable as any you will learn in a lecture hall.
